Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. Recently, she was Carlota (the main role in the show) in the series Netflix's Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in the USA. She is an actor also a singer, comedian and performer. Her most notable role was as a member of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, from the year 1996 to 2002. Since then, she's appeared in ABC's Suburgatory as well as TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer started her professional career in the university of Northwestern University; she initially enrolled as a voice major. She later changed to theater studies when she began to be involved with Northwestern's Improv comedy troupe. She carried that same spirit to her performances as Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character on Suburgatory or Karen Grisham the agent on Lady Dynamite. It's all been leading up the premiere of American Auto, the NBC sitcom which finally grants Ana Gasteyer the starring role she's always deserved. Her most memorable role was in the NBC sketch-comedy series Saturday Night Live, from 1997 until 2002. In the years since, she has appeared on sitcoms, including ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls.
